The short version

Your check-in photos and body data stay on your iPhone. We never upload them, sell them, or use them for advertising.

Photos

Pip analyzes your front and side photos on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Photos are stored only inside the app on your iPhone, protected by iOS file encryption, excluded from device backups, and never sent to us or anyone else. You can lock them behind Face ID.

Body details and estimates

Your height, weight, birth date, sex (used by the body fat formulas) and your estimates are stored only on your device.

Apple Health (optional)

If you connect Apple Health, Pip reads your height, weight, birth date and biological sex, and can save body fat estimates to Health. This data is not shared with third parties, not used for advertising, and not stored anywhere other than your device and Apple Health.

Usage analytics

Pip uses TelemetryDeck to count anonymous app events, such as "check-in completed" or "paywall shown", to understand which features are used. Events never include photos, body details or estimates, are not linked to your identity, and do not use the advertising identifier.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive only whether your subscription is active, never your payment details.

Website hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. This website does not collect your email or any other personal data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under Brazil's LGPD and the EU/UK GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time, by emailing us. In the app, Settings → Delete all data removes everything Pip stored on your device; deleting the app does the same.

Children

Pip is not intended for anyone under 16.

We'll update this page and its effective date if anything changes.
